What Causes the High CPU Usage Explorer.exe Error?
The common cause of this error is that some type of malware has entered your computer and has taken the name of explorer.exe to deceive unsuspecting users. A common indicator for an infection is that when you boot your system everything loads fine, but suddenly all the icons and other desktop properties disappear, leaving only your background visible, and then reappears after a few seconds.
