Some Mozilla Firefox users complain about its speed, so here is very quick Mozilla Firefox internet speed tweak you can implement to increase the speed of your Mozilla Firefox browser.
Step 1. Type “about:config” into your browsers address bar and hit enter, you might get a warning message but we know what we’re doing so you can safely continue.
Once inside look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Usually the Mozilla Firefox browser will only make one request to a web page at a time. Enabling pipelining allows the browser to make several requests simultaneously, which in turn results in a dramatic increase in the time a web page loads.
Step 2. Make the following changes to the entries listed below:
Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true”
Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”
Set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to any number around 5-12. This
means it will make X requests at once, depending on the number you put in.
3. Finally right-click anywhere in the list and select New –> Integer.
Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and give it a value of “0″.
This value represents the time the browser will wait before it takes action on recieved information.
Congratulations, these small Firefox speed tweaks should make your browser load pages twice or three times as fast, depending on your internet speed off course.
